Real Estate guy by day, the family guy (and dog lover) for the other 24 hours and loving every minute of it! In 1994 I plunged into the residential real estate market and decided this was the place for me. Early in my real estate career, I worked for a national non-profit organization, Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA), as their Housing Rehabilitation Director. My goal at that time was to gain more knowledge of construction and renovation of existing homes in conjunction with working with 1st-time buyers. I effectively managed over 25 residential construction project managers in the field on both East & West coasts while implementing procedures to improve communication between contractors, property owners, and banking representatives. I also developed resources, designed systems, and organized all aspects of real estate property acquisition and renovation.
Along the way, I ran a successful Construction Management company that specialized in high-end renovations in Jamaica Plain and Brookline. I managed all of our projects from smaller one-room renovations to larger scaled complete home renovations/restorations while seamlessly coordinating efforts between the architect, homeowner, developer, and subcontractor. While running the construction management company, I also decided to take home inspectors licensing course; I completed the course and approximately 30 inspections as an observer; that’s all it took for me to realize that crawling under porches was not my thing.
Over the past 11 years or so, I’ve been hyper-focused on using my knowledge and background to assist buyers and sellers. My clients demand excellence – in marketing, negotiations, integrity, and overall business know-how. I love technology and push its boundaries to make the real estate experience better – better marketing, deeper research, better experience. My goal is to make you feel like you are my only client and that you have an advocate at your side every step of the way.
Although Real Estate is a large part of my life, it is not the only part. My vocation allows me to spend time enjoying and appreciating family, friends, and my dog! I love being in the kitchen and enjoying great food, anything Apple or Cole Haan, gadgets, great cigars, motorcycling, and traveling overseas. I live with integrity and try not to take life so seriously.
